vegas really has it all. it is a veritable one-stop-shop for all styles of rock climbing, rivaling even the eastern sierra for year-round variety and quality.

in the week that i spent here this trip, i:

• climbed a beautiful, trad/hybrid multi-pitch buttress

• worked a legendary, single-pitch, trad test-piece

• hopped on some boulders

• and pulled on some sharp, limestone sport climbs
